Tea Day always starts with the Cucumber Committee.	Bev brought in many home-made goodies.	Doris is dressed early and working.	Fern helps set the tables in record time.
June checks in the guests.	Marty covers the sandwiches.	Rita works behind the scenes.	Shirley tops the gourmet sandwiches.
Theresa wheels out the tea pots	Shirley brings in the food…	And here we go!  “I’m late! I’m late,” quotes Emcee Barb Gurganus.	Barb introduces our special guests:  Christie Vilsack, Ruth David, and Art Weeks.
Christie charms the crowd…	…and pours like a pro!	136 guests enjoy the Royal Treatment!	Local author Ruth David has many fans.
Betty and Sally receive a refill from Ruth.	Art Weeks, Ames Public Library Director, is an excellent tea server also.	Arlie Swensen celebrates her 97th birthday at the tea!	The Bodacious Book Belles really fit the literary theme, “Once Upon a Tea Time!”
