Funding for all programs and services continues to be a necessary yet challenged revenue stream. Items for consideration and would be welcomed for discussion include, but are not limited to:

Adobe Photoshop Program & Color Printer
Marketing Apparel for Staff
Outreach Emergency Needs Funds; housing, food, clothing, etc.
Nutrition: New Serving Dishes for Special Events
Aprons for staff and volunteers for serving at Meal sites
Adult Day Center: Heat lamps (2) for shower stalls
Industrial Vacuum

Our Mission

Heartland Senior Services of Story County offers life-enriching
opportunities for older adults and provides support for their families and
caregivers. Services include: Home-delivered and Congregate Meals;
Outreach and Referrals; Transportation (HIRTA); Social, Wellness, and
Educational Activities; and Adult Day Center.

Our Vision

Heartland Senior Services’ new comprehensive facility with
satellite locations and programs is the statewide model for bringing
life-enhancing opportunities to all of Story County’s older adults.

By seeking new funding, research, and development paradigms,
we will be on the leading edge of new models for delivery of
services to seniors.

United Way of Story County

HSS is supported by private and public funds including: Aging Resources of Central Iowa, Heartland Senior Services Foundation, HIRTA, Story County and its cities, Story County Community Foundation, and United Way of Story County. HSS is an ASSET-funded agency.
