We realize that you have numerous choices for your charitable giving. Many thanks are extended as you've chosen to invest in the lives of seniors in Story County. Heartland Senior Services (HSS) has five (5) major program areas in which we provide services and opportunities for older adults to achieve their desired quality of life. Those areas include Activities and resources, Adult Day Center, Nutrition (home-delivered and congregate meals), Outreach and Transportation.
Our new mission is to offer life-enriching opportunities for older adults and provides support for their families and caregivers.
For quality sustainability of our services offered, we are always seeking contributions from individuals and business members who want to make a difference in a seniors life! Our participants in Ames and throughout the county, gather for many reasons via HSS; a competitive game of BINGO, a healthy meal, to jest over a hand of Bridge, or to plant some flowers in our bed of beauties in Adult Day Center!
The joy of gifting "all things" Heartland shows that you support our agency and would like to make a difference in the lives of older adults in Story County!

HSS is supported by private and public funds including: Aging Resources of Central Iowa, Heartland Senior Services Foundation, HIRTA, Story County and its cities, Story County Community Foundation, and United Way of Story County. HSS is an ASSET-funded agency.
