Seniors who enjoy a social atmosphere and a nutrtious meal for a great value, benefit from Congregate Meal sites in Story County ! Lunch meals are served on a variety of scheduled days Monday -Friday. Click here to see the list of towns and times that meals are available .
Home-Delivered meals are available throughout Story County for individuals who for either short term or long term reasons have a need for assistance with meal preparation due to an illness or disability. Our Home delivery service reaches from rural Ames to all points in Story County. This includes Cambridge, Collins, Gilbert , Kelley, Roland , Sheldahl, and Slater.
Individual Nutritional Counseling Services are also provided in the following areas: Cardiovascular Disease/Hypertension, Celiac Disease, Diabetes, General Nutrition , Home Health, and Weight Control.

A warm shout out of Thanks to Mary Greeley Medical Center for the generous donation of an oven upgrade for Heartland Senior Services! Our kitchen staff and participants give high praise to the newer, more modern oven. Amy Porath, HSS kitchen cook, prepares for the daily meal!
