Arranging a Ride

The transportation office hours are Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. During this time you can talk to someone to arrange or cancel a ride. At other times, a message can be left on the voicemail. On weekends, a message left before 6:00 p.m. will be returned the same day.

To arrange transportation, call our office in Ames (515) 233-2906 ext 228 at least 24 hours in advance of when you need our service. Let us know the following:

• Pick-up address.
• The time you need to be at your destination.
• Destination address.
• Will you use the lift to enter and exit the bus?
• Preferred return ride pick-up time.

Rides may be scheduled up to two weeks in advance.

Ride cancellations should be called into our offices at least 2 hours in advance of your pick-up time.

If you do not cancel your ride and you do not show up for your ride, your reservation will be marked as a "No Show."
